f. If Seneca Wallace doesn't underthrow an open Bobby Engram on third-and-10 in the final seconds, Seattle beats Miami. Seneca, you've got to make a better throw there -- and you can't push the ball out there. You have to cut it loose.
g. I realize Mike Holmgren will wretch reading this, but that was a moral victory for the Seahawks, playing that well against a superior team.

Why is it strange? Seattle should have beat us! They really stepped up after the 1st quarter, and Wallace played a lot better then I expect.

A win is a win, so I'm happy for that, but we could have easily lost that game.

I think the strange thing is the 'superior team' part.....we were 1-15 last year!! who would have ever thought we would be called superior to any other team the very next year!
 
I dont care what anyone says. We got the win and thats all that matters. :up:

i told ppl yesturday we won b/c wallace UNDER THREW the WR where as posters said ALLEN made a great play on a great pass. ALLEN did make a great play but it was on a BAD pass. i honestly dont know what ppl see when they watch football loll
 
Yeah? and if no one held on the opening kick off of the game the Phins would of won comfortably. The "ifs" dont matter. What matters is that we won and they lost.
 
I think he means its strange because Peter King called us a superior team. I like the sound of that

Exactly, the 'what ifs' apply to both teams not just the seahawks.

Well if someone decides to play the what if game for the losing team then why not apply that same thought to the winning team? for example: what if pennington doesnt throw that int for a touchdown then maybe the game becomes a blow out and we wont be talking about what if that seahwaks receiver caught that ball at the end. We can go on and on with the what ifs.
 
I didnt read thru this whole post so if someone has already said this I apologize. The key thing about this victory is that we did win...those that followed every game last year we lost six games by 3 points or less...SIX games. The differences in this years team and last year is that Miami is learning how to finish a game out and win. You can say its because we have a decent QB who "usually" doesnt make mistakes at the end of the game to where we lose or it's the coaching. Either way it was a great change to watch the game and have the feeling like okay how are we going to lose this game because we are use to our team making a mistake in critical situations...and they actually win. Great win better than last weeks and beating the Pats.

I think it's because of all the drops Seattle had especially the one in the endzone is why we held on for the win, not just one play but all of them put together.
 
I feel bad for Wallace

he was probably afraid to throw it too hard and have his receiver drop it for the 80th time

King needs to stick to being a reporter and cut the "expert" crap, you would think he was a veteran scout or something
