Strength of Schedule...

I have no idea what "web PC" is either.
I got prime time games by googling "NFL Dolphins Primetime games" for those 3 yrs
Weird, did it just show up after you posted? Lol

I just checked and Dallas was a 4:30pm eastern game so not primetime. It was Christmas Eve so that’s probably why I misremembered.

I suspect "Web PC" had to get in there as I was typing, but I have no recollection of ever using that term.
Nonetheless, I think some are (correctly) remembering the lack of success in cold weather/prime time, but not remembering the competition. Admittedly, I was one of those until I did the research.

Unless we play high school teams the strength of schedule doesn't really matter. Opposing coaches show their teams films of McCapri's antics and know this is not a serious team.

First, the Prime games the previous 3 yrs.
Miami lost . . .
BUF
TEN, with Huntley as QB
GB
PHI
TEN (no excuse for that one)
CIN, with Bridgewater as QB

Miami won . . .
Rams
CLEV
NE
PITT

On to cold weather, again, previous 3 yrs, 5 games below 35
Miami lost . . .
BUF
GB
BUF
KC

Miami won . . .
CLEV

If those games were played in 60deg weather, how would that record have changed?

I submit the problem wasn't cold weather or Prime games, but the competition.
Ok.

You have shown me a 5-8 record with Tua in the game. Five of those games you listed are under cold weather. (1-4) Eight you listed in Prime Time. (4-4)
That's about 62.5% ... that equates to 10-11 wins ... throw in injuries and the like, and the team is about "middle of the pack".

Random numbers with a random group of games.

The QB really needs to be the difference maker.

You have strengthened my stance and added another reason Tua hasn't made the difference expected.
The competition is too much for him to overcome.

I don't know if the warmer weather would have changed the outcome.
I do know the weather cooler than 50 degrees is a death knell for the team, and it has been for a minute.

What the data shows is Miami loses to good teams in cold weather, prime time, and away. It's the teams Miami plays regardless of circumstances

You can’t use wins to determine individual performance.

Last year, Tua had a 124 against the Bills and a 114 against GB… both playoff teams. Yet the Dolphins lost.
