* Whoops, I meant team in the title. Mods please fix, thanks.

Sturgis probably didn't have much competition but nice to see jones get some recognition.

Kicker Caleb Sturgis and special teamer Don Jones were named to the 2013 PFWA All-Rookie Team one day after veteran punter Brandon Fields, veteran cornerback Brent Grimes and veteran defensive end Cameron Wake made it onto the All-AFC Team. Both players did enough in their first year in the NFL to catch the eye of not just the local writers but writers from around the country.
The Dolphins picked up Jones in the seventh round of Arkansas State as a backup cornerback and safety, but he quickly emerged as a force on kickoff and punt coverage. His biggest impact play happened late in the third quarter of Miami’s home opener against the Atlanta Falcons after Atlanta’s Harry Douglas picked up the punt on a bounce and tried to return it. Jones hit him hard enough to jar the ball loose and long snapper John Denney recovered the fumble at Atlanta’s 19. That led to an 18-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill to Brian Hartline in a game eventually won by the Dolphins, 27-23.

Sturgis isn't deserving but are there even any other rookie kickers

I believe he's the only rookie kicker. Hopkins who was drafted by Buffalo was injured all year which is why Carp was kicking for them. Will be interesting to see what the Bills do next year since Carp had a very good season and the Bills spent a 6th rounder on Hopkins.

What would be very interesting is if Carp is brought in again to compete with Sturgis. Now that, would be fun to watch.

I think at the start of the season some of us were hoping/expecting to see Jordan make this team, especially given that he was picked #3 overall. Hopefully he'll use this as motivation for next year.
