If the Colts did indeed tank in order to get the number one pick to get the franchise QB and have it turn out to be far from what they had hoped for, then yes it would be Poetic Justice for the Colts to not benefit from the deliberate tank job.

I am not rooting for Luck to fail, the only time I ever rooted for QB to fail was when he played for the hated raiders, that was a special case.

So because the Colts "tanked the season" Andrew Luck has to suffer for that?

Besides, the idea that any team would/could tank a game is ludicrous at best. You'd have to have A LOT of people in on it to suck as bad as the Colts did this season.

I think all it really took was a determination not to acquire an adequate replacement once Manning went down.
