I'd like to see a forum for highlights, torrents, and other dolphin media that we can post. In the main forum it gets lost way to quick !!!!

it would be great for us east coast fans

It's not all that difficult to use the forum search feature.

You simply type in the word "torrents" and it will find all of them for you.

"This presentation of the NFL cannot be retransmitted or rebroadcast without the expressed written consent of the NFL."

When the Dolphins had us down there last August, they had an NFL guy speak to us for about 30 minutes on copyright and legality issues. Suprnova.org and Lokkitorrents.com were both recently taken offline. While we're not like that, we're pretty big and visible. And we've been spoken to.

We try to do at least a decent job of staying on the straight and narrow. Creating a forum for this would paint a large target on our backs. And I'd like to be invited back this August. :D

Maybe consider taking torrents off this site completely.

Torrents are not Illegal the contain no illegal data nro do the contain instruction on gathering said data. If the content that the torrent refers to is "not legal" then the people using it are in violation and not the host or owner of the torrent itself. That being said i gotcha and want you to be invited back as well.

I'm not sure I follow you here, but this is the deal:

Anyone uploading or downloading a torrent that contains copyrighted material not meant for free distribution is in violation of the law. Law enforcement doesn''t care about the downloaders(leechers) per se.. they go after the uploaders, creators and hosts.

What Finheaven is doing by allowing such activity to manifest itself and especially by providing links to torrents can be subject to penalty (most likely unwanted hassle) if discovered..

Granted, Finheaven is hardly any major source for downloading copyrighted material; it is only here on very small scale but all it takes is one whistleblower. Yes, this is probably unlikely but it is something that should be known.

Also let me add that I've done my share of downloading, I'm just leary of it being so freely accessible by the fact that you can access the linked torrent directly from this website.
