So I went to pick up a friends seatbacks from the stadium last weekend and ended up grabbing one for myself. For some reason, they said they didn't have anymore #13 and #17 because they had been pulled to auction off at a later time. While going through them they ended up finding a 17 and giving it to me. My thoughts initially were take it to training camp and get Ryan to sign it. He wears 17 and he's gonna be seen as one of the best when it's all said and done (I truly believe that). There's also the 17-0 reference from our 72" team though, but what do you guys think? What would really make this small piece of Sun Life something special? Thanks in advance for all the input.

I think the "72 reference would hold more significance on an old Orange bowl seat. Personally, I would go for Tannehill being that he played his first few years with us in those chairs.

I'd go with tannehill but that's just me. 72 was before my time and I'm sick of holding onto that as our "success". I'm so ready to have a new success we can brag about. That's where tanny comes in.

These items are more about what they mean to you than future value. for the most part guys sign so much stuff isn't worth what you pay for it but if it means something to you personally make that choice.

w/ that said, anything '72 will always have historical significance and w/ Ryan you are banking on future success so it could mean something to you in the future or it could mean nothing.

Same here , im not into bragging about Stuff that happened before i was even sperm in my dads nutsack .

Id go with the Tanny one ...

'72 reference would have had more meaning if the seats came from the Orange Bowl (RIP). This is Joe Robbie Stadium so Tannehill makes more sense.

I saw you get as many players to sign it as possible. Past and present players alike.

Yeah, I think I might go this route. I will be at training camp next week so hopefully I can get a few guys to sign then. All the input has been great guys. The undefeated thing is cool, but I'm ready to put that behind us and start rallying off some successful seasons. Get another Lombardi in the building!

i dont care if its lawrence phillips and you go to his prison cell. you got a collector piece and shouldnt worry about the finances of it, bring it to practice and even if you get a OL who is gonna be bouncing by mid august he was still a fin. if you got tannehill to sign right by the 17 that would be awesome. but make sure they all sign the same side that way you could display it proudly in your man cave and maybe pass down to the next generation. sadly my step kids (in 2 weeks) are both panthers fans so they have no purpose or usage for old miami dolphins memerabilia :-(

The only two I would get to sign it are Marino, or Shula. More so Marino, cuz Shula had most of his success at the OB. Definitely WOULD NOT have Tannehill sign, though.

Are you speaking from a graphers perspective? Just curious.

Going to clean mine up real good and have a nice wooden frame made for it by the trophy shop down the road
