After attending the final game of the season Vs Jets. I was totally disgusted. same old s----- . Attendance was good but not like other places. My question to my fellow Dolphin fans is this .... Would more people attend home games if drinks didnt cost 11.00 for a pepsi or 12.00 for a beer. For people who work for a living thats Friggin Ridiculous ....What a rip off. Its the players making millions of dollars not the fans. Ross is making a fortune. $ 5.00 for a soda is still high but acceptable .... If you take a date or family to a game you have to mortgage the farm ... Just sayin . Any thoughts? Besides me being cheap?:420:

if the price of beer bothers you, be thankful you don't go to games at the Meadowlands

In attending games at that stadium since 1987, I've bought exactly one item at the concession stands: $4 pretzel in 2004. It was halftime of the season opener against Tennessee, the game that was moved to Saturday due to an approaching hurricane.

Still annoying. I really wish I had a perfect record.

I pack sandwiches, water and other munchies in the car, like snack bags of almonds. Eat them after arriving at the parking lot and after the game while waiting for traffic to disperse.

Other members of my party occasionally spend money at the stadium but I refuse. If it's not value I don't play. Keep in mind I didn't have to pay for a meal for more than 20 years in Las Vegas unless I wanted to. Comps multiple times per day, if needed. Mostly buffets. Then it became even more ridiculous when many casinos started offering players cards with points available for sports betting and (advantage) slot machines. I still find it difficult to adjust to paying for meals in Miami.

I did check the menu prices this year. The new guy from the Padres arrived with a reputation of dropping menu prices at their venue. Didn't seem to translate here.

It's expensive no doubt. If you think those prices are high you should have seen what they did when the pro bowl was there. To the heart of your question, more people would attend if the product was better on the filed. Its just that simple no matter the prices. The renovations may help but if the product on the field is the same I wouldn't expect much more from the fans to be honest.

SLS actually has the second cheapest beer (by the ounce) in the NFL. I believe Jacksonville is just slightly less expensive.

You are just being cheap.

You really can't compare any stadium to Jacksonville.

Fans are encouraged to bring food into Everbank Field... http://jacksonville.com/opinion/blo...7/jaguars-fans-now-allowed-bring-food-stadium

I remember last year when they gave every fan two free Beers.. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...pt-to-lure-fans-to-buy-tickets-with-free-beer But people in Jacksonville still complain about the owner.

Jacksonville does a lot to entertain fans while they watch the expected result week in and week out. L

I was able to go to a jags game with 4 people and we spent a total of $80 for game tickets and we ate and drank for under $20. The game was a joke.

I was at the last two Dolphins home games this year with my family. 23 total tickets, $2150 in tickets, and hundreds in concessions. The product on the field was much better in Miami.

Personally, If I'm at a game watching a consistent winner, like the pats or Seahawks I don't care about the drink prices. As it stands now, when we win I have no problem paying my bar tab. But after a loss, I feel like I wasted money. Winning ofetn will make people believe. Then they will want to go and be a part of it all. Right now that's not happening.

Stadium would be packed if they actually produced a product people wanted to pay for... price doesnt matter.. people would pay.

Pro sports arenas and stadiums are all overpriced. If it's such a concern I'd recommend eating lunch or dinner before going to the game.

I've done it before and it works out just fine.

This is very true. That being said, attendance has been bad since at least 1990. A lot of it has to do with geography. Draw a 500 mile radius around the stadium and see how much is ocean. Then there is the transient nature of Florida, meaning there are a lot of people that cheer for other teams. Heat has never bothered me. I had cancelled many plans because I don't care to travel to see them lose. Tired topic, but what isn't.

As long as Stephen Ross puts his faith in Joe Philbin, I will not attend another home game, even though our 2015 home schedule is pretty sweet.

When I went soda was $7. Are you getting the really large one? Besides you should be drinking water in that scourging heat lol. I rather pay money at a football game than the Movie Theaters!! Wtf is their problem lol.
