Sun-Sentinel camp report 8/2

Again you have to ask why are guys who are doing this for free doing a much better job than the professionals at these camp reports.

Because the news sources aren't smart enough to hire a fan to report from camp. Instead they find someone that would rather be reporting on what Tom Cruise had for lunch last week then whats going on in fins camp, it's sad really.

haha thats pretty funny :)

btw love the sig....

This sucks...more turd signs from Manny Wright. The guy is pretty far from being out of the woods.

Still even in his current condition I bet he can make an impact.

Yeah your earlier criticisms are starting to ring true with Manny. I'm not giving up yet on him but he really has to put forth a better effort at keeping his weight in check.
Hopefully the light comes on during his tenure with us rather than later with another team.

I don't think heat exhaustion should be held against someone. Wasn't it just the other day there was a good report on Manny?? They are doing a report right now on Outside the lines about heat this year in camps and two of the guys they are interviewing are Zach and JT. They are being extra careful with everyone since Korey Stringers death.

i thought manny made weight for camp? i am 99.44 % positive i read that.....

Well there's no report on whether it's heat exhaustion or just plain exhaustion from being out of shape.

It could be either one but if I had to put money on it I'd bet on the latter.

Yes he's lost the weight he had from Mini camps but going on a crash plan to shed fat will also play havoc with your strength as well. No matter how you spin it, he's not where he should be right now if he had been dedicated.

He screwed up not doing what is necessary in the offseason and my bet is he's paying for it now and will continue to. If he reacts like a man and fights through it he may come out the football player we all thought he would be. If he dosen't so be it.

JT is in far better shape then Manny and he missed time. I don't hear anyone makin a fuss over that. Manny was a 5th roud SD pick, we need to keep things in perspective as to what players are doing. Manny will be fine and if he's not oh well, he's a 5th round pick not a 1st # 5 overall.

Manny wasn't the most disciplined player coming into the league, and he is not the most disciplined now. But lets keep some perspective. Traylor has been on a modified practice schedule due to his conditioning. Would I prefer him to come into camp in shape, yes. But the guy is still young. Compare Manny to V.Carey. Carey was better (not great) last year, this year he focused on his conditioning more, and is by all accounts better prepared to contribute. Let's hope Manny continues on his improved path. I don't think one missed practice is reason to get back in the FH doghouse.
