Sunday will prove

i believe without a doubt we have the best quarterback the NFL has seen in some time. there is no questioning this. I believe daunte culpepper will take this team from mediocrity to dominanace. there is no quarterback in this league who has overall skills comparable to daunte. if and when he puts everything together he can dominate this game. Stop doubting him and start waiting for this to happen. sunday will prove daunte is the future of this team. i know how stupid and sappy this sounds, but i wanted culpepper since he was at ucf. i can honestly say i would have taken him over manning. we have not had a qb in so long, i just wish we could all brag about miami dolphins passing again. i wish i could sit in a room and say "well we got daunte culpepper, we can beat anyone any game" without another dolphins fan saying he sucks, or harrington is better
thats what makes this country great differing opinions and the ability to express such opinions:cooldude:

hey man i´m with you on this for some points, i dunno if i would take daunte over manning though, but can i use your sig as well ?

I hope C-Pep has a great game. I think this game will really show what kind of team we have. This will be a good test because if we are as good as everyone thinks (playoff team) then we should win the game. Lets hope. Don't want to start 0-2.

i just hope Daunte goes out there and gets the timing down and makes smart decisions... and damn malarky... throw it deep at least 4 or 5 times.... O-line willing...

I like Daunte and all, but there's no way he's a better QB than Manning or Brady. And he's probably not better than Palmer or Hasselbeck, either.

daunte's a good qb who has finally given us a decent qb. Its been so long since marino! I think once our oline jells we'll have a top ten offense. I wouldnt put daunte in the top 5 qbs but he might be able to slip into the top ten which is good enough for me

Well no one could say you lack passion.

He's a great physical specimen, unfortunately, he concerns me when he plays against complex defenses.
I don't care how hard you throw a football if you are throwing at the wrong color jersey.
His problems against the Steelers weren't 1st time events. He has apparently done this type of thing before. He needs good coaching and they need to simplify the progression of his reads. Testaverde had the same problems. He was a great athlete with a great arm, but stunk in Tampa, was mediocre in Baltimore but had a near pro bowl year for Parcells in New York. I believe it was because they distilled his options down for him on a given play.

I believe that Daunte Culpepper is just as good as anybody in the league. Personaly I would take him over Manning, mabey not Brady. It is obvious that the biggest improvment in NFL teams happens between week one and week two. If nothing else, you know that after week one Culpepper and Chambers have been drilling timing into their heads. That will be huge.
