You can say whatever you want. But we have had the pieces in place for a number of years for a Super Bowl run. We had one very poor season. We now have a qb with an arm and an offensive line that will improve every week. All we need is a couple of young guys to step up and I can see it happening. I know we have to go through New England most likely or maybe the Colts. But why not? Two years ago we were talking like we could do it. Why not now? Take Carolina for example they rebounded after a poor season. Why couldn't we? We have the talent.

I like your enthusiasm, but slow down. Just because you can run a mile doesn't mean you can win a marathon.

I agree. I hate extremes when it comes to football. We are 1-0, nothing more. Let's see what happesn in New York, then Carolina, then Buffalo and so on before we talk about Detroit.

Wow, and I thought I was optimistic. True, you never do know in this league, and it keeps surprising people every year with the rags-to-riches stories, but this one would be insane. Let's just hope for the playoffs first and see where that goes. Heck, let's just hope for a week two win over the Just End The Seasons ....

Comon guys let's be happy with the win, but look at the facts the Jets are trying to rebound from a tough loss and will be gunning to shoot us down. It's going to take either massive amounts of blitzing or no blitzing at all to beat Pennington.

very well put, I was actually afraid that I would run into one of these threads with all the hype going around....

I couldn;t agree with you any better....We have to take it one game at a time....

No, we are thinking playoffs this year for sure. We are the dolphins. I don't care about 1 season. Look at our records all the seasons before that. We deffinately have the talent to compete with teams. Look at Denver for example, I know they play in a weaker division but they made the playoffs 2 years in a row and we smoked them.

We are a long way from the Superbowl. New England looked like a polished top shelf team, we did not look like that. We had two field goals for a long time. We are not a powerhouse with a wide selection of plays that are bread and butter plays. Could happen, just a little over the top, BUT

have a great Monday, we won!
