Maybe, with SF picking the Utah QB we will get a chance at USC's Lineart [spell]? THAT would be awesome!

It could happen. Chow and Leinart's QB coach have jumped ship. Leinart's won the Heisman and two national championships. Why does he want to come back to USC and risk getting injured and/or tarnishing his stellar college career? There's not much more he can do at the collegiate level. He may be the big man on USC's campus, but he'd be the most popular man in South Florida if we grabbed him in the supplemental draft. Staying at USC makes no sense.

Give up Zach Thomas or Sam Madison to the '49ers to ensure that they give us the right to draft Leinart in the supplemental draft.
