I know we are supposed to have the "toughest" Schedule in the league next year, but do these so called analysts take into consideration that some or most of the teams we play turn out to be crappy because thats just how the nfl is? Ur thoughts and please dont rip me apart for this post

I'm so tired of fans acting like our schedule is going to be garbage or something next year.

No folks, it's going to be an ABSOLUTE MONSTER, you can BANK ON IT.

Where our wins will come from is anyone's guess.

New England (2)
Pittsburgh
San Diego
Tennessee
Indianapolis
Carolina
Atlanta
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Houston (who we've never beaten)
Jacksonville (what have we beaten them, like once?)

Yeah, it's a cakewalk! LOL

well we get to play the bills and jets twice each that helps
We don't know that either. We split with the Jets last year and they were 17-4 vs us before that if I'm not mistaken. The Bills can get over on us too and have before. No gimmies, sorry to say folks.

We've been through this a few times. The entire AFC East plays nearly the same, identical schedule as we do. We may well have a worse record than last year, but, it's just as possible that we'll be in the same position we were last year with less wins.

It may not be a cakewalk, but the Dolphins are not pushovers either. It isn't like Miami played Detroit and St. Louis 8 times each last season. We did beat some quality teams during our AFC East Championship run. We beat New England(In Foxboro), San Diego, Denver, New York Jets(In NYC). All those teams were .500 or better.

We do have a much tougher schedule then last season, BUT SO DOES THE ENTIRE AFC EAST. We played(with the exception of two games, which we lost by the way), the same exact schedule last year as the Patriots, Jets and Bills. Guess what? We proved to be the best among those bunch. People look at our schedule and say "WOW! That is brutal, no way they repeat as Division Champs!" My response is, "Why Not?" New England is our biggest challenge for the crown, and they have, with the exception of two games again, the same schedule.

It doesn't matter if Miami plays a schedule full of games against the likes of the Titans, Colts and Panthers or a schedule against the likes of the Lions, Rams and Chiefs. The rest of the division is getting those same opponents, so the whole SOS thing is overrated. The ONLY part it comes in to play is seeding amongst the conference. A tough schedule like this could be a deciding factor in whether you play in the Wild Card round or get a Bye Week. With a schedule like this, it is probably very likely that the AFC East Champion in 2009 will be no better then 10-6. Likely meaning another home wild card game for the champ.

You never know. Some teams that were good last year may not be good this year.

The Ravens, Dolphins and Falcons all won 11 games last year. The Packers, Jaguars and Cowboys all made it to at least the second round of the playoffs the year prior and they all sucked mightily last year. If that doesn't best display the parity that often occurs in the NFL i don't know what will. Looking at last years schedule and calling it "tough" or "easy" is stupid.

Way i look at it is good or bad teams we still need to play fins football and win games. If we cant beat good teams on a regular basis how we gonna play well in playoffs etc. It will be a nice challenge for this young up and coming team.

best **** i've read all day.

Last year I thought San Diego, Denver, and Seattle would be tough games...and while they were close, they didn't beat us like alot of people expected.

The schedule is a crapshoot every year, plus, we've got an improved team this year, so while it may be tougher on paper, it doesn't mean it'll be tougher on the field.

how can they take that into consideration? by looking through their crystal balls? they have to base it on the records of the teams from last year.

so miami has the toughest schedule. on paper.

we have 6 games against playoff teams, we play 10 teams with winning records and only 3 with losing records.

doesnt mean were goona do badly - its just the facts. we do have the toughest schedule next year, based on last years performances.
