Who will be our suprise player this year ?

I'm going with Jesse Chatman.{He did well in Cams system before and he is working himself back into fighting shape}

I will go with Ted Ginn Jr.

Speed Kills and this guy has plenty to go around. I think everyone will be glad we took him at 9!

I would've said Derek Hagan, but I don't think he'll get the PT he needs. I wish we would've acquired more picks by trading Booker and allowing Hagan to run the #2 routes, but it looksl ike Book is still going to be here.

I'll say Vernon Carey at LT. Can we count that as a surprise? He wasn't very good at LT last time he tried and I think he will surprise fans of our opposition who seem to think he's garbage over there.

I'll go with Rod Wright. If he is fully healthy again, he could be a monster.

Jason Allen at cornerback. I always thought just based on his measurables, that he was more suited to that spot anyways. And he was an impact corner for Tennessee earlier in his college career if I'm not mistaken

I like a lot of the choices so far, in particular Allen and Chatman.

But I'm going to go with David Martin.

Matt Roth - First starting season.
Jason Allen - Can only impress after seeing no real playing time last season.

...and Zach Thomas. Will AGAIN, prove he isnt passed it, and playing at a pro bowl level still.

CAREER NOTES:

Played quarterback, wide receiver, free safety and strong safety in five seasons at Stanford.
