They had a segment on both the Cowboys and Chiefs games.. Not even a word about the Dolphins game.. Its like it wasnt even played.

I wanted to hear some discussion about Joey's homecoming and our possible playoff push.

Oh well...

When you got Chris Berman calling the shots you won't see (or hear) alot of Dolphin stuff on ESPN.He makes it obvious that he hates the Fins.:fire:

I was just telling my wife about how they don't give us any credit. Their talking about how the steelers have a shot at the playoffs but nothing about the team that has a FOUR game winning streak!!! Also I told my wife to listen and count how many times buffalo is mentioned and so far it's 3...:fire:

I turned it off for a bit.. Did they ever mention anything?
Not yet. It was teased before the commercial break, and now there's another break. It will appear at some point, I hope!

Thats kind of funny, Thursday night on the NFL channel, I thought I was watching the KC Chiefs highlight show. Although they did show a few highlights from the two earlier games, it was mostly about "their" new tradition and "their" game.

Quit crying. Both other games featured either two playoff contenders, or one playoff contender.

Our game featured a team that started out horribly and made a huge resurgence of late, but is still a long shot for the playoffs, and the awful Lions.

Which would you give preferential coverage to if you weren't a Dolphins homer?

The whining that goes on in this forum sometimes about media coverage....geez. I remember the whining that the media didn't think we had the top 5 receivers in the NFL....and when they turned out to be right nobody put their neck on the line and said "welp they were right after all"...like they expect sportswriters to do when they err in predicting.

No biggie. When we are in the post season they will be forced to cover what will be the biggest story in the NFL 2006 season.

You talk as if this game had no stories to talk about whatsoever... The game had 2 very interesting stories to tell, and they chose to display neither..

It was worth at least a soundbyte, considering it is a TWO HOUR show dedicated to FOOTBALL and ALL of its teams..

Well put, these shows are supposed to be for everybody, not just fans of playoff teams. Just b/c Dallas will make the playoffs doesn't mean that game wasn't the most boring of the day.

I hate ESPN anymore. I watch NFL Network. Too much bias by pork face Berman etc. on ESPN.

A voice of reason. Yes they do have 2 hours, but thats to cover the games that are on today. It happens EVERY YEAR. Thursdays games are only touched on the surface, especially 2 non-playoff teams. Its nothing against the Dolphins, I promise.

I thought you guys learned this past summer that you don't want the hype that comes with ESPN and Salisbury and Merrill. Prisco and the others. Take it from a Pats fan. You want those guys to doubt you. You don't want their coverage. They are always wrong so if they hype you it is the kiss of death. Let the Fins play their games under the radar of these guys and take care of business. When you truly deserve it they will be all over you like white on rice.

AFter this season's start I don't think Miami has to worry about much hype next year. If anything it will be negative.
