surtain and madison of the future?

with all the talk in mini camps about how well daniels and J. allen are matureing and getting better everyday, does anybodi see them being are next great cornerback duo, and maybe in a few years we will look at them and get reminded of the surtain madison days

its a good possibility it could happen but it is still to early to tell in a few years we will know for sure whether or not they will be who knows they could be THE cornerback tandem in the league...?!

I could see it happening. I thought our next Surtain and Madison was gonna be Poole and Daniels though....I think Daniels will be great, but I'm still worried about J. Allen.

I haven't seen anything saying J. Allen is maturing? Most just say hes altogether unimpressive.

Na, i don't see it happening. Madison and Surtain were shutdown like 85% percent of the time. They could blanket people all day long the way they would cover in their prime. I miss those guys because they we're so good at what they did. J. Allen and Daniels could solid or pretty good but not Madison and Surtain good.

Daniels has great instincts and seems like he will develop into a good player. I don't think he has the physical tool set to be really great though.

Conversely, Allen has the tools, but his instincts remain very much a question mark. He's looking more like a flop than the next great one right now. Of course, he hasn't played enough to right him off. He still has a lot of upside.

Our D is also really built on the front 7 now as well. We play a lot more zone. We don't really need superstar corners in this scheme and probably wouldn't be able to pay them.
