Surtain has surgery

Miami Dolphins cornerback Patrick Surtain underwent successful surgery today to stabilize a fracture of the proximal phalanx of his left fifth finger, the team announced. Surtain sustained the injury in yesterday’s game against the 49ers at 3Com Park.

Dolphins chief team physician Dr. George Caldwell and Dr. Brian Fingado, a hand specialist, performed the surgery at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.

Surtain will be listed as day-to-day in regards to his status for this Saturday’s game against the Patriots in New England

trust me, the Pats will show up to play....I grew up in Mass....about 30 miles from Foxboro and attended alot of Dolphin games......this is the biggest game of the year for the Pats and their fans...every year(whether they go 4-12 or 12-4) the players and fans are so fired up. ****,,,,,,even the DAMN CONVICTS show up to play ...remember the blizzard game????!!!!!!!!!!!!WE WILL SHOW UP TO PLAY AND WE WILL WIN BECAUSE WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM.......Terry Glenn will be hitting the crack pipe on the sideline so he's one Pat we don't have to worry about. COME ON MIAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yes............

i remember the blizzard and the snow plow. i can't believe shula just stood there and did nothing! maybe he thought it was only three and the fins could overcome it.
the fins don't seem to fair to well in bilizzard conditions. in 1990 they lost a playoff game to barffalo. 44-34. marino had one hell of a day, but the defense didn't make the trip!
