If a player is banned a year, what happens to his contract?

Is it just voided and the team keeps the money?

What if the player is suspended indefinetly?

Is the player responsible to pay the team anything?

i guess by now, everyone knows where im going....

if ricky comes back but eventually gets banned for life for substance, will he owe the money?

in Ricky's case is it a 4 week or 4 game suspension....I guess the question is ... will he be back for the bills or the Bucs....

When a player get suspended, he doesn't get paid for that period. Also, the team doesn't get charged against the cap either. For example, with Ricky Williams and his four game suspension. He'll lose four game checks and the Dolphins won't have that counted against the cap.
