it's very possible...he's a great player, many however think we'll go offense in the first or obviously BPA...

I'd love Landry if Quinn is not there, but I doubt he makes it past the Vikes and Atlanta.

So If Jason Allen does convert to CB and I think he will does that mean the dolphins will pursue Laron landry from LSU?? :err:

This is a good question.

I'm not totally sold on J. Allen at corner. However, at least the Fins have made a decision and hopefully they stick to it.

It would be real hard to pass on Landry if Quinn is gone.

But.

We all will agree on here (I think) that we need offense.

If Landry is there it will be interesting to see whether we go BPA and take him or if we draft for a need.

Gonna' be one helluva draft folks!

Provided Quinn is gone and we did not trade up....Landry gets taken by us, if he is avail. at #9. It has nothing to do w/ J.Allen at CB or S. Landry is BPA.

I think that Allen is going to surprise at CB. I saw TC footage on local TV and it showed what I saw in glimpses last year, too- the man has some serious quicks. I mean like a cat. Plus he can hit, which I'm sure that Pats TE would be glad to confirm. Plus he has some ball skills- someone has to with Will Allen on the other side (not bashing him- heck of a cover guy).

Allen is quick, fast, big, and can hit like a truck. I think that eyes will be opened this year. The best I've ever seen in coverage at Fins TC were Don McNeal, Tim McCyer, Surtain, and Troy Vincent (my all-time favorite. un-frickin-believable.) Now that Allen can stop thinking on every play and cut loose, my guess is that he's going to join that group. He's going to be a treat to watch.

atlanta will take landry.

Good chance of that, but it wouldn't surprise me if they took Patrick Willis or used some of their extra picks and swung a deal for Calvin Johnson. Brooking was just moved to MLB, though. I would imagine that PW could play outside, but that's just speculation on my part. They could always move Brooking back, too. Despite our needs on O and our solid corps of LB's, I wouldn't mind taking Willis at all. A stud in the making. Then again, Landry probably is, too. Landry on a blitz is a sight to behold.
