I know alot of people on here like to bash T.O. but he would be huge for our offense. Assuming we sign Brees tomorrow..technically today...I really hope we make an effort to get Owens. I'm sure we won't offer near as much as Dallas will so it probably won't happen, but I would really like to see him in our offense. Owens is like a little kid, which I have 2 so I know. If you let them get away with a little something they push it just a little further the next time and so on until you have a monster running around the house. See my wife would be like Owens' former coaches and I would be like Saban. When Saban speaks up and gets T.O. in line, he would be a little honor student and score alot of touchdowns for us. Yes I had a few too many tonight......

I think Owens is one of the best receivers in the league. But I would really shutter to think of the disruptions he could cause. I think Saban might possibly be the one who would be able to keep him under control, but I really don't want to find out.

no T.O. He is a problem. I dont want him coming to Miami to tear up our team the way he did to the 49ers and the eagles

Forget T.O.
Sheesh. :shakeno:
It's not going to happen.

:shakeno: Fortunately, your T.O. desire will not happen, your little kid simply does not worth all the pain that would cause our team (or any other) for sure, and T.O. has no idea what an honor student is.

T.O is more like an arsonist than a kid......

Keep an eye on him 24/7 and take away his little toys and he cant do anything

But give him free reign and he will get the gasoline and matches and burn your house down

TO is too great a talent to not talk about, I see us signing Givens before we sign TO, even though TO in miami would be nuts...imagine if it worked out. I am sure we would be super bowl contenders. Givens wants 5 yrs 25 mil...TO wants alot but he wiilll probably get a 1 yr 3 mil deal loaded with incentives, does that sound right? if so then TO would be cheaper and double the reciever that Givens is if he can be tamed.

o god please bring TO to the dolphins.

I just cant see how this could happen, even if the world was upside down and TO was the greatest team mate in the world and the perfect role model. there is no way way we can afford this guy, I mean we are struggling to sign Brees as it is. And if we do sign our qb we would barely have enough to sign anybody. Not to mention we have to save some of our cap space for our incoming rookies.
Please for humanity's sake lets stop any threads re: BO

TO is going to the Club Med of disgruntled recievers, featuring famous names like now-49ers reciever Antonio Bryant and current reciever Keyshawn Johnson, none other than the Dallas Cowboys.

thats a little extreme. I think he can be free and kept in line. Its just about the money and SF and Philly didnt want to give it.

Not like we can of course, but if no one bites on him at all and we can get him for a one year deal, i say do it.

TO's problem is he lets the media get the best, and the same could be said for his former team-mates, they allowed themselves to be goated into talking about TO constantly and allowing them to lose their focus on THEIR playing.

Saban already has shown he LOATHES the media and would not allow that to happen if TO was brought onboard. I am sure he would ban TO from talking to the media and would instantly cut him if he started his antics again... and more importantly would ban all other players from even mentioning TO or responding to any questions about him allowing any situation that might arise to quickly fade away.

At the right price I would be willing to add him to my team... but only with a guy like Saban at the helm. I truly think he would be able to keep TO in check, and at this point in TO's career... he would be worth the gamble, because the price is going to be VERY low based on his past antics. Most Dolphin fans were against letting Ricky back last year... and now everyone has to admit it was worth the risk. Even with his recent screw up we didn't really lose anything... but we got some good production out of him and some mentoring for Ronnie Brown. I think it would do Chambers well to watch a guy like TO day in and day out... and how hard he practices and fights for every ball thrown his way. Even if it is not direct mentoring, Chambers play will improve by watching how a guy like TO gives it his all when on the field.

well, I wonder about one thing. Saban. If he told TO to keep quiet and they did meet or talked, ala Ricky, then I would say that TO is already showing he is in line.
