Well I just heard about the alleged suspension. Don't quote me on it, I am not aware if it is fact or fiction at this time. But do you think this scenerio is all that far from reality?
Andy gives Owens another chance after his suspension, requesting that he plays on his contract and keeps his mouth shut. If Owens can not follow through with this Andy does not trade Owens, but rather keeps him for the remainder of his contract, but lets him rot on the bench. Annual suspensions (not sure if that would be allowed) could also reduce the amount of money they need to pay him (drastically if I am not mistaken). This is something I saw Billy B doing with Dillon if he caused any problems.
This kind of exemplifying (burning away someone's career) would put a shock into alot of the trouble makers in the league. This could also be bad for Andy's reputation in the future. I have never heard of anything like this happening in the NFL before, but I sure wouldn't disagree with it.
