Free agent WR Tab Perry will return to Cincinnati to meet with team officials Wednesday.

The Bengals declined to tender Perry as a restricted free agent, but would take him back for less than $927,000. They're competing against Miami, Green Bay, and Baltimore for the special teamer.

Wow, Tab Perry. And I thought we were going all-out by resigning Michael Lehan.

We thought last week that the Bengals released Tab Perry -- by not offering a restricted free agent contract -- was an effort to sign him to a lesser, perhaps minimum deal, so the team could keep his skills as a return man and yet not get burnt if his hip troubles him. That's hellva long sentence right dat der.
The Bengals and Tab Perry's agent talked Wednesday. Perry has visited, but not come to terms on a deal, with Miami, Baltimore and Green Bay.

Looks like the phins offered him a contract...

The guy is a really good special teams player. Adding Grigsby was a good move for ST and I'd be quite happy to sign Perry as well. Plus he would give us some good depth at WR.

aha another special teams player...just what we needed! now maybe ted ginn and his family can run for more touchdowns seeing how last years qb couldnt hold on to the ball

They make him sound like the Joe Toledo of WRs/KRs.

ST has been a BIG part of Bill teams in the past. I'm not surprised he building the ST, the phins were bad last season....
