Quick question: Is Tab Perry still with us???....should be coming off IR and hopefully has done his homework....he has the measurables, might be his last chance to break the starting lineup. Did not see him on Nublars depth chart but don't remember him getting cut.
 
He's a free agent. We would have to offer him a contract.

He's still with us, I expect that we'll give him a min. 1 year contract and check him out 1 more time.. his measurables are still good, but now he's missed a year, but the time he missed in Cincy..he just might be camp fodder unless he turns it around..
 
He was given an injury settlement and released.
 
i don't think we will sign him or keep him we brandon london already plus whatever rookie wr we will get through the draft

He is technically still on the roster, but that is only until next Friday. He will then become a free agent.

The official roster lists 67 players and the depth chart I put together lists only 60 players. I did not add players that will become free agents next week, but I will put them in if they are re-signed. The 7 players I omitted are Tab Perry, Channing Crowder, Yeremiah Bell, Andre Goodman, Al Johnson, Renaldo Hill and Aaron Halterman.

From my information all their contracts expire next Friday and are free to look elsewhere. The only player out of those 7 that I am not 100% sure on is Aaron Halterman, but I am pretty sure he is a free agent.

Another player that has mixed reports on is Derek Smith. Some say he will be a free agent, but others say he signed a two year contract. I was actually doing some research on him this morning and I think I determined that the ONE year contract reports are the more accurate one. Therefore, he is now the 8th player I have omitted from the Depth chart at the top of this forum.
 
hes purely a ST player. a very good one, but hes not a good WR. i dont expect to see him back.
 
yeah, i mean i guess i wouldn't mind a camp body.. but no way he gets in above London, and i think lowber and armstrong have chances to make this roster over Perry
 
Tab Perry signed a one year contract on 3/17/08 for $927,000. He suffered an Achille tendon injury on a limited contact OTA on 5/29/08 and was later placed on injured reserve for the year. He was a sixth round pick by the Bengal's in 2005 and is listed at 6'3' and ran 4.44 at the forty that year at UCLA. Karl Dorrel was a coach at UCLA that year and is now the wide receiver coach for the Dolphins.
