Miami has offered Ronnie Brown 19 Million in guaranteed money, he (or his agent) is demanding 22

What is it that 22 million will buy him that 19 won't? Certainly not the respect of the players who are busting their ***** everyday in camp for a fraction of that.

Take the money, live like a rich f@cking pig the rest of your life and get your A$$ to camp.

though very vulgar I agree

Yeah. Take less than value simply because some fans think you should.

I think you should go into your boss's office and request, no -- demand, a 14% decrease in pay before you say a darned thing about Ronnie Brown.

look guys its a market... and the market is set right now to 15%-20% increase over last year... why should ronnie except being under the market value? his agent wont, hopefully they'll settle on 20 or 21 or something and do it quickly but dont expect him to just take 19 and run...

vice versa i could and go demand a 20% increase from last years starting salary

Im all for ronnie getting paid. 20.5-21mil guarantee should be a good.

While I agree in concept that Brown can and should ask for anything he can. However, I can see how he thinks that he is worth the same money as a QB picked before him. QB is the most important position on the team with a 13-15 year longevity should he stay healthy. RB is much less crucial with a much shorter shelf life. Dont give me any BS about the shelf like of his career means he should get more money up front b/c thats bs. If he wanted 15 years he should have learned to THROW the ball.

its a chess game like Amars said I think it ends at about 21.5 million and hopefully it happens by wed or so....both sides have to try and do the best for themselves without getting stupid (rosenhaus) about it.

Did your peers get one? No. I'll tell you what -- the next time your peers get a raise, turn it down.

What an absolutely ridiculous analogy...

First off all, I've already been at my job for 5 years, I have a proven track record. My bosses pay me what I get because I have proven my worth to them. Secondly, we are not talking about salary, we are talking about guranteed money, if I had a career ending injury, there is no guaranteed money that would support me like Hugh Heffner for the rest of my days.

just pay the man and lets get him in camp i wanna see him in the hall of fame game so we can see what hes got if hes the franchise back then pay him hell be here for at least five years

I am all for Ronnie getting his big payday, but I hope that he isnt a bust. He is getting a lot of money and he hasn't proved anything in the the NFL yet. It is whole new ball game then the college level.

Take it and run with it cause the Dolphins certainly are not going to pay more
