ESPN.com article [h=1]Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill feeling 'comfortable' entering regular season[/h]
Although you can never go overboard with preseason statistics, it is hard to ignore Tannehill's solid numbers this summer. In three exhibition games, Tannehill completed 78.7 percent of his passes for 317 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

It's only preseason, and he played well this time last year, but that completion percentage is still impressive over the course of 3 games. Especially considering the drops we've seen. Cameron alone could have that number over 80%.

Anyone watching the PS games so far knows Tanny has been on target, but i did not realize he was pushing 80% completion percentage.

EDIT: article is flawed - real comp % is 64% - thanks to NYPhan23 for pointing this out

and the pick was a tipped ball, off the hands of his receiver.

it's amazing what can happen with just a teensy bit of a consistent pocket.

And one clear INT dropped. 78.7 an impressive number, but I'm just as impressed with the audibles. Looks comfortable.

He looks more comfortable than I thought he'd look.

Also 5 clear touchdowns dropped too

He looks comfortable. I'm excited about our potential. The offense needs to average 30 ppg for us to win with that defense lol

This team reminds me of a scene from the movie "Friday"

Craig Jones: We ain't got no sugar.
Smokey: No sugar? Damn. Y'all ain't never got two things that match. Either y'all got Kool-aid, no sugar. Peanut butter, no jelly. Ham, no burger. Daaamn.

Things you need to be a successful team

1. Good GM/leadership
1a. blue chip talent
2. Good coaching, schemes
3. Good passing game
4. Good running game
5. Good defense
6. Good special teams
7. good health

Could we just get a 1800 yard running game, limit defense to 25 sacks and a top 13 defense?

I have a feeling this year we will have a good passing game & coaches and the defensive "talent" will give away too many games.

The interception was tipped at the line of scrimmage. I think that was evened out by that late throw to Stills that could have been picked.

The numbers are fine but at the end of the day we got to score points...tds in fact

obviously on the offense as a whole. he has to throw a catchable timely ball, and those damn receivers if they get their hands on it, need to catch the damn thing and do their job.

Yup. Though I just want to point out that we created a bunch of scoring chances in the red zone, we just failed to convert them. I mean, Cameron, Parker, and Landry all had legitimate shots at touchdowns in the end zone that they failed to convert. Landry actually had two.

To me, that bodes well for our red zone offense.

Being unable to run the ball leads to 3 and outs...especially if you take a penalty in a set of downs

Probably my biggest concern...getting behind the sticks cause we cant run the rock

And if you cant run it with our tempo and a gassed d front when can you? Hopefully come the 4th quarter

I would not be surprised to see Tannehill score as many rushing TD's this year than he has in the 4 years prior. (that would be 5).
