Healthy, changed Ryan Tannehill ready for best year of Dolphins career
https://www.palmbeachpost.com/sport...-year-dolphins-career/VAh4Ejn6mo6B6yX84pOCRI/

Enjoyed this article on RT. Articles like this are getting me even more pumped to see what Tanny can do this year...

"I am more prepared than I have ever been. To play the position. Everything it encompasses. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. I’m more solid than I’ve ever been. I’m more consistent fundamentally than I’ve ever been. Play comes in. I know exactly what I have to do. Boom. Boom. Boom."

It's funny how Omar has put the spin on the QB situation by now posting on Twitter, Miami may be preparing to part ways with Tannehill after the season because of all the QB's Miami is carrying, including putting Brice Petty on IR. I'll believe it when I see it. But I'm betting this will be Tannehill's best season.

No one is preparing to part ways with a healthy Ryan Tannehill or his stellar contract, certainly not because of any of the QB's on the roster currently.

The Dolphins should be planning for the next 4-5 years with Tannehill and bolstering his OL this coming off season. They've built the team around him, even in his absence, with a roster chalked full of guys either in their prime or entering their prime.

Yup if the post-Tannehill QB is currently on the roster it will be rough few years when RT leaves. It's pretty clear to me they are all in on RT right now - Fales and BO just seems like a passable at best contigency plan as due diligence.

I may be wrong, I don't really understand contract situations within the game but I thought there was an easy out for the Franchise after this season should they chose to exert it ?

Tannehill needs to have his best season statistically and in the W/L column.

I understand W/L is a team stat but still.

He sounds like he's ready to ball out. We shall see Sunday

Maybe after 2019. They would have a 13M cap hit instead of 26 if they cut him. They restructured his contract.

Still a good deal considering the going rate for these "franchise" QB's.

This franchise is absolutely hoping to pay Ryan Tannehill the rest of his contract and then some.

If he gets hurt and you can put yourself in a position for a top 3-6 pick, you re-evaluate.

Why are you so infatuated with Omar? He’s got nothing to do with article Lol

Y’all love giving that man the attention. Gonna keep helping him pay his bills.

Saw a guy that still locked into his primary reads and 6.3 YPA on 39 attempts is concerning. 3rd downs and points remain a problem.

Credit to him for looking like the same guy (albeit a little slower, little less decisive as compared to 2016) with all that time off. Drake throw was money, but took nearly 40 throws to get there.

Game 1 will be much faster so Tannehill will have to speed things up or scoring drives will be few.

you mean put up again, right?

Doesnt count, Matt Moore finished the season so Tannehill deserves 0 credit for beating any teams that season. It was a weak schedule u know, I mean obviously Wentz was crushing bottom feeders last year but that’s not the same thing, Wentz is a future HOFer with extreme popularity and RT is pure garbage lol. My lord I can’t wait for Thursday night, this is going to b a great season, last year was simply a horrible aberration.
