Tannehill could break 10,000 passing yards on Monday Night

Thanks SkapePhin.

The comment from whomever he is was kinda expected.

Man, can you believe it. I was so tired of shoddy, month to month QBs, followed by draft anticipation of same. QB check, now let's get a TE and star MLB or Wideout. Cheers to #17!

Awesome but there's another 10 I'm hoping for as in 10 wins.

The NFL record for getting to 10,000 passing yards is 36 games, held by Kurt Warner. Stafford is second, doing it in 37. Marino is tied with Marc Bulger (of all people) at 38 games, while Peyton did it in his 39th game. I think that's the top five. This information doesn't seem to be cataloged neatly anywhere. Bledsoe also did it very quickly, as have Cam Newton (42 games, I think) and Andrew Luck (who actually might be in the top 5 now that I look at it -- might have tied Marino and Bulger).

Monday will be Tannehill's 44th game.

Interesting I didn't really think Tannehill was up there in passing yards per game. Seems like he doesn't break 300 much this season at least. The running game definitely is a direct cause of less passing yards

Lol. The SECOND fastest. Good luck to anyone wanting to break that franchise record!

Personally, I'd get a certain satisfaction if he should get to this milestone against the jets of all teams.

The passing game is averaging 234.7 passing yards per game.

And warner shouldn't really count because of his advanced age...the one I want to know about is Brady given I think tannehill is headed towards a very similar career ascension
