Tannehill Injury Update Thread

Goodness without Tannihill how different is this team from last years?

That's a great question.

Answer is...a fair amount.

Last year it took half the season for Xavien Howard to come alive and become the player he is. There was no Minkah Fitzpatrick. There was no Robert Quinn. There was no Jerome Baker. Even with the ups and downs of Raekwon McMillan, a year ago it was just downs, because the guys we tried in McMillan's place sucked. A year ago Kiko Alonso was playing awful. This year he has already stamped his ticket to the Pro Bowl six weeks into the season. Big difference. A year ago we didn't have this sort of game-breaking ability in the wide receivers unit. A year ago we didn't have Frank Gore. A year ago, Ja'Wuan James was gone for the second half of the season.

Does last weeks game at least count for one week of the down time? Lol. Can I wish for it?

I guess if the strength doesn’t come back he goes under the knife and is done for the year.

So dolphins.

With this new information that would have RT returning @GB or possibly after our Bye. That's a pretty long stretch but the schedule doesn't look too brutal. Brocktober-fest currently in full effect now - expect a lot more bubble screens.

If all goes well, the two to three week eval period will be all that's necessary, and he can return after the Thursday night Houston game. 11/4, home versus the Jests.
