Let me preface this by saying I like Tannehill and I think his level of play will get better this Sunday.
These are just two things i have noticed this season more so than the previous.
1. His ball security in the pocket is about as egregiously poor as I have ever seen it. The ball should be controlled with two hands until he's ready to sling it but he stand in the pocket with one hand on the ball while also having it extended away from his body.
2. He doesn't believe in his legs at all. There have been so many occasions this season where he gets pressure from a 300+ pound lineman and fades backwards to ultimately throw it away. Now i understand this might be a safe play but if he ever wants to shake his " game manager" ( which to this point can't even be applied) he needs to the occasional risk. A head fake or stutter is usually sufficient to buy yourself an angle to beat the lineman to the sideline and move towards the LOS. This is where you get to utilize your speedsters Stills/Parker who have gotten enough time to be virtually uncover-able. I know this is nitpicking but seeing Tannehill get flushed backwards and off balance by slow lineman is unbearably frustrating.
3. His foot work has BARELY changed. Something I really thought would improve with Lazor over the past year.
