Tannehill confirms that he said he line about the practice squad trophy. Guess what? ALL QUARTERBACKS TALK TRASH. Brady, Manning, and Marino have similar stories.

If the practice squad defense was going a little hard during a walk through, that's unusual. Ryan got a little upset. What I really want to see is the ones on offense and the ones on defense going full out.

Seems to me, assuming everything in that article/Tanny is saying is true, that the real story is that Joe told the defense to go easy during the walkthrough and McCain deliberately disobeyed him. Anybody wanna guess where McCain would be if he pulled this **** on a well run team like, I don't know NE? The fact that even lower level players disregarded Joe speaks volumes as to the complete lunacy it took to extend his contract last year.

Joe is not/never will be a leader, just further proof but whatever its a non-issue moving forward.

Winner. That's the story that nobody is talking about. Has anyone actually coached or been a part of a walkthrough? A lot of times it's done in a hotel ballroom.

I don't blame RT for responding the way he did - when you call someone's character into question, they have a right to defend themselves.

Absolutely zero problem with him getting after the scout team. Glad he didn't make the paycheck comment; because that's lame.

Bad example. Brady pays prac squad guys for picking him off, he invites competition to get better prepared for the opponent,

Everyone seems to be overlooking the walk through part. This wasn't practice.

I never thought it was part of RT's DNA to say something like that and even if he did it was in the light of smack talking.

Much to do about nothing...

How about the HC get control of the tempo of his practice? No?

Surprised Ted Wells isn't packing his bags so he can come down and bilk Goodell out of more cash investigating another case of butt hurt in Miami.

If you're intercepting passes on a walk-through, you're a jackass.

Different if it wasn't a walk through...where a lot of time you will run the same play over and over to make adjustments...

The trophy case line is actually pretty hilarious.

McCain needs to be forced onto the field. The kid has talent and upside, and he can't possibly be worse than what we are going with. He can actually rush the passer, which we desperately desperately need. He isn't going to get any better with minimal reps.

Nonsense. This was a Dolphin walk through. not a Patriot one, where everyone knows the plays and its just a primer for the game. The players know not to interfere with the flow of it. 95% of the league does it this way. First people wanted it to show how bad Tannehill is for getting picked off by backups...then it was how spoiled he was with his comments...now its he didn't do his walk through like Tom Brady and the Patriot way? This was totally agenda driven and people who have those are trying to build this up when in reality it is nothing

LOL FSU Nice try dude. We discussed this in chat, and you know I know that. Believe I was the one who asked you how you would handle a guy being a hero in walk through. As you know I know what a walk through is.

My post was in regards to the typical "In New England this wouldn't happen"

A couple of things I get out of reading this:

1. The team didn't respect philbin
2. The team is soft
3. Some players don't respect or like tannehill

Not I. Walkthrough is jogging through the motions to make sure alignments are straight. Unless the ball was thrown right to the practice squad (otherwise they'd have no choice but to get the INT), being overzealous on defense in a walkthrough is strangely weird to me.
