Glad to here the team is finally considering using Tannehill's athleticism to cut down on the number of sack.

Finally, the internal self-scouting unit stumbled upon this option. Not like everyone else on the planet outside the Dolphins organization knew it. What? They just got to that part of the film study? Maybe Ross suggested it to them...

DAVIE –—
Dolphins fans, your prayers have been heard.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has been sacked a NFL-leading 24 times, said he'll likely be rolling out and taking advantage of his mobility when the Dolphins return from their bye week.

"I think if you do it in the right way it definitely can help us," Tannehill said Tuesday.

Tannehill has taken such a beating through five games he has one huge red mark on his back and one on his side. Both likely come from helmets being firmly planted into his mid-section.

Fans have been wondering for weeks why Tannehill has been firmly planted in the pocket and not allowed to roam. After all, he spent time playing wide receiver in college at Texas A&M. The Dolphins have, on occasion, taken advantage of his wheels and allowed him to move left or right.

"We have those types of plays in the offense," coach Joe Philbin said of the rollouts. "We've utilized them throughout various times in this season."

Is there sufficient numerical data to support these claims?

I think a chart with lots of numbers is in order to better understand what this article is trying to say.
