Okay, now that it's taken 2 pages to clear that up is it ok to call him tanny, as in a nickname?

I am sure it is pronounced Tann-eh-hill. Kind ...of like my name Roman....with a soft e...Ro-men...not Ro-MAN. People used to call me Raman noodles as a kid, and I am still traumatized over it. 
Ugh...hell no. That nickname reminds me too much of another QB in New York.
