Tannehill playing gives us a 4-6 win season

im expecting a 10 win season. and that aint no lie. whoever the qb is.

We have a full deck compared to last year where we actually will be able to prepare for the new offense and defense. The schedule is not nearly as hairy. I mean these teams are very beatable.

Also, the coaching will be much better with adjustments. Sparano couldnt adjust his jock. Tannehill will play at some point, but to me, it doesnt matter who starts because it means the coaches chose the guy who they think gives the best chance to win.

this team has a lot of talent.
Hey brother can you spare a hit? - NorFlaFinI 100% believe in this team now, but this next year isn't playoff bound so you are just letting yourself down now.

Lay off the drip dude. We have not won 8 games for some time now. 7 , 7 and 6 I believe. Never mind ... I see your from Gainesville.

we should have beaten the NY Giants, Cleveland, NE Pats, and Denver if it wasnt for the circumstances in which this team was under last year. A coach on the hot seat and then gone with interim coach, and injuries and no offseason prep under new system. The schedule is easier. I dont know what the past has to do with these facts quite honestly. Its a completely new set of circumstances that are good, not bad. Last year was not good from the get go and everyone knows it. Philbin era will be different.

The schedule is very favorable for the Dolphins this year, very similar to that of 2008. In both instances the Dolphins played the NFC West and this year they play a weak AFC South which is as bad as the AFC West was in 2008.

On the plus side the Dolphins are more talented and the improved coaching will be good for a couple of wins; on the minus side, Tom Brady is back and it is unrealistic to expect the Dolphins to lead the league in fewest turnovers as they did in 2008.

Putting it all together, I would say that 9 or 10 wins is quite realistic.

i with you friend. Just correcting the post that said we had 8 wins last year. i feel better about our future than I have in a while. Philbin does not appear to be over his head like Tony was and even Ireland has been making intelligant decisions as of late.

so the qb with the most upside and talent gives us a max 6 win season upside in 2012...i don't buy that at all...

A 10 win season is not out of the question, the quote on Shula beating you with his team and then he could take take your team and beat his team with your team. Sparano was clearly useless during games in terms of adjustments, being aggressive, timeouts etc. At the minute we know little about how Philbin, Coyle and Sherman are going to do during the games but you would like to hope they could win a game or two more than Sparano based on better in game management. Add the amount of games Marshall cost on dropped passed and who knows. I'm still going for a 7 or 8 game win season but who knows.
