I just heard an interview with Tannenbaum on Mike Francesa show and Mike asked him what he saw as the biggest need for the Dolphins. Tannenbaum responded with the following:

Generally speaking, I would say depth at corner. The way teams spread you out nowadays you need 3 maybe 4 starter quality players at that position.

He is certainly right about that. I would have hoped he would have mentioned the O-line as well......but hard to argue with the DB comment.

Thanks for sharing!

There are a lot of FA CB's that Coyle could resurrect in Miami. As I've said, it's his best trait as a DC. I count at least 12 CB's who would see the field and/or start for Miami. These are the twelve, but before I list them, remember how much better Finnegan looked for Miami than he did in St. Louis before posting "blah blah blah sucked in XYZ city":

Kareem Jackson
Bradley Fletcher
Walter Thurmond
Darius Butler
Brandon Flowers
Patrick Robinson (maybe my favorite for the money I think he'll demand)
Kyle Wilson
Chris Culliver
Davon House
Parrish Cox
Chris Cook
Antoine Cason

Some of these players will be relatively expensive, some relatively cheap, and some dirt cheap. No reason for Miami to draft a CB early with Coyle as the DC.

If Taylor and Davis are whiffs its gonna hurt something terrible. Need one of those guys to take a big leap and get some youth in FA back there.

Everyone in the AFC East expect the Dolphins are trying to lure Darrelle Revis next season, per @AdamSchefter.

Whether Tannenbum is right or wrong, that's like asking Rich Kotite what Belicheat could be doing better. :idk:

Why on Earth would he come here over NE unless they give him an insane deal?

Tannebaum is right and the roster last year was weak on DB depth.

Don't we need a starter at CB first? I don't see Finnegan coming back

I like what I heard about the importance of leadership and character that is needed in the locker room. The HC could use some of that to help him along.

Having 3 or 4 starting caliber CB's is a must in today's game. I agree with him.

That would be a "Big Splash" move by Ross, which can never be discounted. Culliver or Jackson are more realistic. JMO

If the Pats, Bills or Jets want to give money to a 30 year old corner, have at it.
