Tannenbaum interview with Albert Breer

Do I need to listen to the whole hour + to hear what t-dumb has to say?

Ozzy rules!!

Good interview. Mike seems like the type of person who is a team player and I think that is what will compliment Gase. He does not seem like a guy who ignores his colleagues and will not take a lone wolf big headed approach to running the FO.

I had to stop it half way through the interview when I knew he was blowing smoke about hiring Gase. And for a guy that is supposed to be the "mouth" of the franchise...the one who does all these interviews he sounds woefully unprepared...every other word is "you know"...well when, you know, we went through the process, you know, we fell back to our, you know, list, you know...ugh...painful to listen to.

Oh? Is that why he pushed Dennis Hickey out the door...because he's a team player?

T-dumb saying "you know" so much reminds me of Ted Ginn who was the worst I ever heard but this is pretty close

Ozzy rules!!

i truly loathe him

my measure of adam gase will be as high as possible if he can somehow push t-dumb out the door

They were not on the same page. What did you expect? Grier, Tannenbaum and Gase are all on the same page.

Also, what smoke is he blowing about hiring Gase? If he were lying, I'm sure it would make him look like an ass to his entire team if anything he said was not true. What would he gain from that?

Hickey did like a C job his first draft

Ja'Wuan James is decent
Landry is amazing
Aikens-Fede are whatever
Turner-Lynch-Tripp-Hazel no longer with team.

the 2nd draft with Tannenbaum seems to be a lot better.

Hickey still hasn't been hired by another team in the NFL.

You are being generous.

Juwan James was a top 20 pick and is at best a RT only and he's been decent.

Landry was a great pick

Turner was a complete failure and disappointment, even moreso than Dallas Thomas

Aikens was suppose to have a future on this defense and is relegated to a special teams only guy . . . to the point where Baccari Rambo and Michael Thomas are head and shoulders options over him on defense.

Lynch/Tripp/Hazel never had an impact on the team

Fede was his 2nd most successful pick considering the 7th round and being able to maintain a backup role on this defense (Reaching for a RT top 20 on a barebones Offensive line is not impressive IMO)

His offseason consisted of making an injury prone Branden Albert a top 3 paid OT and got hurt . . . and an injury prone Moreno, brought in to be the feature back, was hurt after 1 game. He replaced Paul Soliai with Earl Mitchell and he replaced Nolan Carroll with Courtland Finnegan.

He's easily one of the most overrated names to ever cross this board and yes, he has no job a year later after being canned by the Dolphins and was literally the 7th choice by Miami to even get the job.

But lets **** on Tannenbaum who actually helped build up a Jets team to 2 AFC championship games without a QB.

This **** amazes me.

Tannenbaum is a former Jets loser. I have no faith in anything he does.

LOL well you have no faith in Gase or the Dolphins organization. He is in the Dolphins organization and everything they do as far as player acquisition will filter through him. I am not saying he will have the only say but his input will be received and his stamp will be on this team.

It is funny to me. I LOL everytime I read when someone says they can't stand Mike and everything he does will fail. It is hilarious and I'd hope that these same folks don't carry that kind of attitude around in real life....the attitude that people cannot change or they make mistakes so disastrous that you could never see past it. That is truly a terrible limitation to live with.

Many great coaches have been undone by a **** front office. Gase is human he cant do his own job and griers and tannebaums.

Gase isnt doing their job he's working with them. The obsession with this subject is silly considering the success they had in year 1 of a 3 year rebuild and the overwhelming amount of information confirming they're working together.
