why do we always only wear white on white?!? even in our night game we werent wearing teal. *removed* with saban he just doesnt like the green?

I know the official colors are "aqua" and "orange", but whoever thinks our dark jersey is "aqua" must be color blind. I have color matched that logo for several paint jobs and "teal" is definitely more prominant in the logo and jersey color. The coats the alumni wear are aqua but the jerseys are definitely not.:D
 
First of all I could (or is it couldn't) care less what unis they where.meaning I don't care what color unis they where) Just win! OK, since there is a thread on this...again...and we are always told "don't post if you don't like the topic" Here goes. I would rather say aqua than teal. teal sounds a bit girly to me.(not that there's anything wrong with that). aqua sounds a little better.
OK off to find a post about "Saban to Bama" or "Daunte or Joey...who is better" It's been a few hours.
 
Jacksonville is "teal"
We haven't played a night home game in quite a while, couple of years, if I'am thinking right. Our last night home game was against New England in 2004 and we wore those goddly ugly pumpkin orange things.
 
White is traditional. Also, just throwin it out there. We haven't won a game in the aqua jerseys since saban took over. So personally, i don't want to.
 
They wear white to force the away team to wear dark colors in the heat in Miami. In all of their night games I can remember they have worn either aqua or their new orange ones.

actually, we call it aqua, but it's definately teal. The Jags wear turquoise.

the night game you are referring to was against Kansas City last year. We only wore white on that one because the game was abruptly moved from sunday @1pm to a friday night due to a hurricane.
 
For whatever reason, they only wear the Aqua jersey's at home night games, thats always been the tradition.
 
Aqua is to bright.Teal is much closer than aqua.We call it aqua,but were really all wrong.Face it it,s teal.Look at aqua ang you,ll go blind..lol

Yup. Although our color is officially supposed to be aqua, it has varied over the years. In fact, I still have an authentic jersey from the late '80's where the color is much closer to aqua than it is now. I also seem to recall that somewhere in the JJ/Wannstadt era the "aqua" was deepened a shade or two to what we have now.
