Ok I want to cover a wide spectrum of things. Feel free to disagree or agree at any points, I want to see your view of things. AND PLEASE... don't gimme the "It's all Penningtons fault" "It's all Ginn's fault" "Wildcat sucks" "It's all because of our Secondary" crap. It's not all on one person... it's a team effort.
First things first, I like the whole wildcat idea, but when it isn't producing in any way, it's not even distracting the defense to the point that we can get decent yardage on regular offensive packages; WHY go to it constantly.
Second thing, we need to get Ronnie more involved, quit the wildcat running through the middle crap, and get some regular sweeps,I-form, counters and such. We obviously JUST saw what happened when Ronnie doesn't do much running the ball in normal packages, let alone the wildcat. We need to strengthen our running game a little bit.
Third thing, we're throwing too much, without first establishing a running game. It's not all Chad, there's a lack of chemistry between Chad and the recievers. At many times the recievers weren't turning around on time, or running the right routes in the Fins-Ravens game. If Chad can get Ginn the ball in stride... not necessarily 30 yards deep... just in stride, it would be quite satisfying. Camarillo has great hands, him and Chad need to get their act together
Fourth thing, our defense has been just a bit lackluster the past two games. I can't really say what's going on, they just seem unenthusiastic. It first started in the Houston game, they were missing tackles left and right. Our secondary isn't surprising, we all know that they aren't the best set of guys, but they need to atleast TACKLE. I saw Crowder covering a WR too many times during the Ravens game, I don't know what's going on there, but the Safety should know to come help.
I KNOW that they're going to get a mouthful during practice.
