Who's considered the team leaders on this team. I've seen Randy McMicheal step forward and challenge a few times but where is the real leadership coming from?

Jason Taylor?

Zach Thomas?

Would like to see Chris Chambers and Ronnie Brown get angry and scowl a few times. They need to show some emotions.

No one and it's a major problem.

We don't have a McNabb (True leader but calm and always collected)

We don't have Chad Johnson (Loud mouth, but a leader nonetheless)

No Ray Lewis (Although I love ZT, he is not the type of player who just by sheer willpower raises the play of those around him)

Would love to see Ronnie or Chambers become those guys too. Unfortunately for those purposes their personalities don't fit the role. They are both respectable but very quiet players.

I think Daunte has the best shot to develop into our leader. He just first needs some success.

The more I watch McNabb the more I like him. He is one hell of an underrtaed QB. Funny thing is I've always heard he was overrated. I've been watching a lot of him lately and let me tell you there are only about 2 QB's in the NFL I would take over that guy and neither of them are named Culpepper or Harrington.

Someone's got emerge on the offensive line as well. They have got to work with an attitude and mean spirit.

Do we have anyone that comes close to that?

I have seen McMichael explode on the sideline he is probably one of the best team leaders for the Fins.

culpepper is a great leader. just because your TEAM isnt winning doesnt make you a bad leader

i've been watching mcnabb since he was drafted...cuz i live around philly and all we get every eagles game.......this year he looks the most like a leader that he ever has i believe...and i think he's playin his best as well...definetly impressed with him this year

Yes McMichael explodes on the side-lines but it doesn't seem like anyone is listening to him.

our team leader is Saban as of right now.
no one on the team is taking a stand at the position. if anything harrington does a really good job at supporting the team and Culpepper on the sideline. Wes would be a good leader just because of his sheer will to play tough football.

pep is our offensive leader right now... thats what the players were saying during training camp... defensively its still JT/Zach

I have always thought mc nabb was underrated and I think he showed his leadership when he played most of last season hurt.
But anywho....
I think even if you are quiet like chambers and brown, you can still be a leader. Chambers showed some emotion by blowing up on the sidelines so he might be taking over that role now. I would like to see Culpepper lead this team most of all. JT and Zach I think just lead by example in the fact that they dont give public scoldings but I'm sure they say something in the lockerroom or in the huddle.

Problem he is whining more than inspiring. You have to make plays on the field before guys will step up and follow. Ray Lewis knocks peoples heads off and so when he is screaming for guys to step up they see his example. Randy can scream all he wants but what has he done as their example - block? We don't have any leaders not just because of personality but because nobody is currently making plays!

C-Pep is not going to gain a following until he starts avoiding the rush and makes some plays on the field. Otherwise all it's just whining. Then he can say - look I'm busting my butt out here - give me some help. Right now he is a sitting duck. Who will listen to a guy who gets 1 pass thrown his way a game and stays into to try and block but gets beat half the time.

:shakeno::shakeno::shakeno: How is he a great leader???

Duante led Minnesota to a 11-2 start in 2000. That is a team that was two years removed from a 15-1 season and had R. Moss, C. Carter (these two had 24 of his 33 TD passes that year) R. Smith (rushed for over 1,500 yards) and an excellent OL. Since that year Daunte led teams have not finished with a winning record in 5 years (6 if you include this one).

Since that 11-2 start Daunte led teams are a whopping 28-43 for a winning percentage of 39.4% (WOW!!!). More recently, 1-3 this year, 2-5 last year, and closed 2004 with a 2-5 record. That is 5-13 in last 18 games.

If this isn't the record of a bad leader, what is???

However, if you were meaning "He is great at leading us to losses" I would say you know your football.
