Team Tanneshan

I could get behind this easily.

This is my preferred outcome. Gase didnt do anything special in Chicago this season although it was only one season.
People act like he transformed this offense lol, two years ago Culter led one of the best offenses in football

The Bears played a brutal slate of defenses this season, lost their best wide receiver, have a mess at OL, and Alshon Jeffery was out for half of the season. And they actually played better than in 2014.

Their offensive coaching staff did a good job.

putting that picture together reminds me of Cheers when Cliff Claven put a potato on a doll

I'd be okay with him. My only concern with Gase is the dumpster fire that is the Phins lockerroom. I think an experienced coach is better suited for dealing with that nonsense. I think if Gase ends up here, he'll likely have some success, but fail overall, get fired, then get hired into a better situation and succeed thanks to the experience he gained here, thereby adding to just how far this franchise has fallen.

I'm down with Shanny shan shan. Our team has been in disarray and it needst o be brought back together. A new guy, young coach is not the answer. Not saying age matters, because Joes was old. But Joe had nothing but assistant experience. Shanahan has and can lead men. I like his eye toward Tannehill and I'll bet he can get this team to score some points.
He's been there, done that. And one more thing, maybe this guy has seen the comfy recliner for a couple years and wants no part of it. Seems like he wants to come out and work.

1. Tom Coughlin
2. Hue Jackson
3. Mike Shanahan

Shanahan is the Quarterback Whisperer. Has been there before and knows what it takes. Also, Washington can thank him for wanting Kirk Cousins when the organization was sold on RGIII

I thought Cutler never looked better. I don't know if that means Gase can be a good HC or not but he did a damn good job in Chicago this year.

but he's only won one playoff game w/ a QB that wasn't John Elway and he only had Elway for 4 of his 20 seasons. the goal isn't to make Tannehill look like a good QB, it's to win.

Shannahan should be at the top of everyone's list. Seeing that pic got me pretty hyped at the possibility......although it's such a very unlikely one.

Now I'm bummed

Mike Shanahan w/o John Elway(16 seasons)
123-121, 50.4%
5 playoff apps
1 playoff win

Mike Shanahan w/ John Elway(4 seasons)
47-17, 73%
3 playoff apps
7 playoff wins
2 AFC titles
2 SB titles

I don't get the positive feelings about Shanahan.

This is why maybe Shanahan could be the best fit for Miami and Tannehill. If you consider Shanahan would be getting a pocket QB that is very athletic, tough in the pocket, and when the run is working, Tannehill becomes even tougher to stop...aspects that helped Elway become who he was.

Oh and no, I am not comparing Tannehill to Elway, or saying Tannehill can be as good, just Tannehill does have those skill level traits, and those are things that Shanahan can work with.
