Man every body here has their panties up in Bunch. I hate to say it but get use to the close finishes. Our secondary is in bad shape, poor play by wide outs and our special are horrible. Teams will prepare for us by analyzing the Arizona and Houston games and see where we can get beat. Its pretty easy to see.
Three major holes in our game.
Number One.
Poor Seondary
I can't believe how poor our secondary played. Recievers are so wide open Penny would have enough time to get the ball to them. We need corners...Will allen is ok. We need a true number one corner.
Number Two.
Poor wide recievers.
Man they took Fasano right out of the game. They took the middle of field out of the equation in the passing game. Then what do you have left, a weak armed qb trying to throw to recievers that would probably be on the practice squad of other teams. I hate to say it but Teddy has plenty of time develope and he stinks at route running. We desprately need a true number one wide reciver.
Number Three.
Special teams play.
We just plain old suck. Usually teams use this as a brometer to evaluate the talent level of the depth of your team. Hmmmmmmm.So whats that tell us.
So i think teams will easily see these weaknesses and adapt to expose them. Just like when Mr Lawrence was fighting Danielson in the Karate Kid. "Sweep the leg". Danielson had a bad knee....
We are in for another long season until these issues are resolved. I believe that we just done't have the depth and talent to overcome these holes in our game right now. Hopefully next offseason we can adress this stuff. I am amazed with what our front office has done with regards to our Oline and Dline this offseason. Gosh we are good in the trenches. Hopefully they can Do the same for our weaknesses during this upcoming offseason.
We are defintley a much better football team in all aspects than last year. But I feel we will ONLY be a playoff team when we address these postions with better personel. We need players with more talent.PERIOD
