They are made in the draft... So yes Manning is a great QB may be 2 or 3 years if he does noy get injuerd again.... Flynn a good game in GB... will be A.J and all other back ups we have bring looking a a QB who fill Marino place in the dolphins..
Alex Smith will always be a number 1 First round pick.... May be San fran didn´t get him an apropiate coach to try to develope that diamond!!! I will get him or stay With Moore and a good first round pick from this draft---

Free agency is toxic to this franchise. I recommend that we draft our players.

Just a little basic 101 education

FA has a vital importance and should be used in conjunction with the Draft. Maybe you don't get the quantity in FA but you certainly have the best shot to fill needed holes where applicable.....

Quit making friggin excuses it just shows your lack of knowledge........admirable enthusiasm but excuses are one of the vital factors thats destroying our once great franchise.......

People really need to calm down around here the sky isnt falling because we missed on manning and not getting Flynn. Peyton just didn't pick us just like he didnt pick a lot of other teams. funny how all those teams front offices aren't terrible and need to be fired. As for Flynn for gods sake two teams in the entire nfl even talked to him and one was his former oc and the other Pete Carroll who's never been much of a qb evaluator in the nfl. Its pretty obvious to me we've got our eye on someone in the draft (I'm hoping Weeden). And that's the way it should be.

Good teams are made utilizing both wisely. It's not one or the other. You use any opportunities to improve your team, particularly a 6-10 team. As of now, this roster actually looks worse than last years. I don't know what rookies will change that. Blackmon maybe? That's about all I can think of, and that's only slightly. On the field I would see it as more of a lateral move.
