The chances of the Florida Gators winning their third national title in four years just improved dramatically. Quarterback Tim Tebow, already being called one of the greatest players in college football history by some, announced Sunday that he will be returning to Gainesville for his senior season.
The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner revealed his decision at the end of a short speech during Florida's national championship celebration.
"Oh by the way, one more thing," Tebow said. "Let's do it again. I'm coming back.
"I've felt attached to this place and wanted to be loyal. I wanted to walk what I say."
Tebow led the Gators to a 24-14 win over Oklahoma on Thursday night in the BCS Championship Game and was named the game's outstanding offensive player.
