Say what you want, but taking him 9th overall, was a serious reach. And passing up Boldin to draft Eddie Moore, well Coach Mustache should be fired soon by Pitt, so next job for him is some High School Football team.

Love or Hate Ginn, for some reason, he's not translating his Obvious talent from College to the Pros. Blame Him, Blame Coaches, its just lacking after a year in a half.

I Like Bess alot, and I believe he can grow into a pretty darn good receiver, so I like putting him in NOW so he can get better each week. Also start Wilford, make him go out and earn his dam paycheck, he has too much talent to be wasting on a bench. Wilford has proven than he can be a very good 2nd receiver on an NFL team.

I understand Rome was not built in a day, and no I didnt expect a worst to first out of this team this year. I thought a good 6 wins, would be a huge step in the right direction, and I still think they should get those 6.

The only thing keeping my sanity, is that the Chargers, Jaguars, Browns, Bengals, Vikings, and Seattle, teams that were EXPECTED to do very well this season, and no better than us. Lets face it, the only thing that matters at the end of the day are wins and losses.

Ginn was a reach, but i still believe that he can be a very good wide receiver. He has great hands, and is very fast. And he has great moves to avoid being tackled. His only problem is gettin seperation and running his routes properly. He needs some coaching from Marvin Harrison

Ginn wasn't a reach. He would've gone to GB at 15 had we not taken him.

Seeing Patrick Willis return that INT for a TD yesterday made me sick. I wanted either Brady Quinn or Patrick Willis. Even though Brady hasn't started a game yet (although he will soon if Anderson keeps struggling), I believe Willis and Quinn will have better careers than Ted Ginn.

Whether Ginn was a reach or not is not the issue. The issue from today going forward is whether he can be a player for the fins next year and following. Sparano is trying to build some toughness and some urgency in the kid. That is the only possible explaination for not having him at least return kicks. Thirty other teams would at a minimum have him returning kicks if he did nothing else because they are concerned with winning today. MIA is more concerned with the future. The good thing is that apparently the staff likes him enough right now to try to motivate him. If they didnt think he was worth it, they would probably have him returning kicks and forget about motivating him. Is he going to be Terry Glenn or Desmond Howard??

Never liked Ted Ginn in college.....Hes always been over rated. Hes a great Special teams guy but drafting a special team guy with the 9th pick is just the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Did Ted Ginn ever have over 1000 yards in a season at Ohio State? plus what good is WR if we dont have a QB to throw him the ball? Im not a genius or anything.....just saying

EX: Randy Moss in Oakland....no QB no WR

Ginn wont last long in Miami

I wonder what the family can do for us

I dunno but his teammate has been fairly good for the Colts playing a #3/4 position.

yeah and do you really think ginn wouldn't be a stud on the colts? Seriously, he'd be amazing in that offense.

if a WR isn't incredibly experianced and skilled at his position he is a HUGE reach @9

I would only pick a WR in round one under these conditions:

- was a senior who started at least 2 years

- great hands

- decent strength

- good offensive IQ

- production, production, production

how many criteria did Ted meet?

Maybe yes, maybe no. I remember at draft time many analysts were saying that Ted Ginn wasn't even the best WR on his team, not to mention the draft.
