I actually feel bad for the fin faithful, a few years ago we had high hopes for Roscoe Parrish when Tom Donablow pulled the trigger in the 2nd round, but he got hurt as a rookie and really hasn't done much so far as a Bill. He's a speedy little fella, but definitely not worth where we drafted him given our needs.

Ginn to me is pretty much the same player, very fast and will likely be a great return man, but he's a horrible receiver and will be no better than a #2 receiver in the NFL and reaching for him at #9 overall was ludicrous given all the needs Miami has, particularly at QB.

Cam Cameron has the makings of another Norv Turner/Mike Mularkey = great coordinator, but terrible head coach.

I drastically disagree. I went to the University of Miami and saw Roscoe Parrish live in the OB for years. Ted Ginn is more Steve Smith than Parrish everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. He annihilated Aaron Ross in the endzone on one play, made him fall face first into the turf. Further Ginn can accelerate faster and while still maintaining lateral quickness better than Roscoe Parrish, and I LOVE ROSCOE PARRISH.

Thanks coach, next time we'll ask you before drafting a player

You sound more like someone hoping, then making an observation. Miami will be fine, don't worry yourself too much....well, at least until Miami plays the Bills, then be afraid, be very afraid. :D

yeah i dont think you can even compare the 2 really. ginn haas a lot more poetintial he will be better than parrish coach cam just needs to find out how to utilize his ablity

LOL - there's pretty much no comparison.

At least Ginn is not afraid of snow like Parrish is. lol.

Yea Ginn has burned two of the top CBs in Aaron Ross and Leon Hall. They're not that similar IMO.

"Ludicrous" would be Miami trading up in the draft for him b/c he was on the phone with his agent. Hope that does not bring back to many bad memories.

There really is no way to compare Parrish and Ginn Jr other than they both have great speed. Ginn Jr is a playmaker and Parrish tries to make plays. Not trying beat down Parrish...I like his talents. But Ginn Jr brings things to the table that Parrish only dreams of doing on gameday.

I wanted this pick and think he was the BPA on the board. He gives Miami a TRUE deep threat to stretch the field. Miami's Defense is the best part of this team. Now the offense will get even better field position after the Defense forces a punt.
