On a day where our running game was completely shutdown, (I think we had 20+ carries for only 40 something yards?) Henne got sacked I think 5 times, and we had only 100yds passing... PLUS we couldn't stop the Jets offense all day long, we still WON.

How?

Teddy Freaking Ginn.

just single handedly won us a game. Possibly saved the entire season. HELL YAH.

People saying he has no elusiveness or vision just pure speed? YAH RIGHT, he is one of the best kick returners in the entire league... that second one was really something special, made 2 guys miss with shifty lateral movements, then used his TURBO BOOST ROCKET SPEED POWER to get around the last few defenders.

One of the fastest players I've ever seen. Also has elite insticts and elite vision on returns.

Still a work in progress at receiver, but remember last year he had 60 catches for 800 yds (not bad at all)

YAH!!!!!!! !! TEDDY F'ING GINN!!!!!

Oh yessss!!!This is what we all have been waiting for...Ted Ginn to break out. He did have some returns nullified with penalties the past few years if you recall.

Not only that, he made NFL history. First and only player to go 100 yards or more on both KR's in the same game. And his return average, 49.8, is the highest in NFL history in a single game. He's also #2 for most kick return yards in one game.

Ted Ginn and his family have finally entered the record books, and in a positive way. Who would've thought?

I wonder if anyone has ever returned back to back kicks? I mean he had 2 in the same game but he did it frickin back to back. I'm suprised CBS didnt metion it. I really didnt think Feely was gonna kick to him again. Speaking of Feely, **** him.

Was it distracting to type this post with Ginn's balls in your mouth? There's enough 'Ginn is our savior' threads stop cluttering the board.

with 2 kickoff TD's called back for penalty, 1 in the preseason, 1 punt return for TD, and now 2 kick return for TD's officially in the books, we can safely call Ted Ginn an ELITE returner. One of the best in the entire league.

By the way his average before even coming into this game was at 25+.

Yah your avatar is looking real smart right now. Maybe this game will teach you not to bash players on your own team?

Everyone has bad games, and the fact is Ginn had 60 catches for 800 yards last year (2'nd NFL season)

Numbers don't lie, he still has potential to be a great receiver, and he has already proven he is an ELITE returner.

You do understand that 60 receptions isn't good for a supposed #1 WR right? That was just good enough for 36th in the league in receptions last season. Color me unimpressed. He was also 36th in receiving yards, that's all not including TEs and RBs.

Yeah, just 18 receptions and 5 drops this year he's on pace to regress majorly.

I'll stand by my Av.

Let's not crown Ginn just yet. He had two great returns and he was the hero today. So give him all the praise in the world for today, but he has yet to produce consistently. I like having Ginn on this team for the big plays he is capable of, but we need him to show up more than 4 games out of 16. If he can start producing consistently I will give him all the praise he deserves, but I will not say that he is great and all the haters were wrong because of one game.

I love Teddy this week, but I will reserve judgment on next week.

It is not about crowning Ginn or calling him a savior. It is about he has taken a ton of heat from the media and he answered today when the team needed him the most. Plain and simple.

I still want to get rid of him. maybe now we can get a 3rd instead of a 5th.

You would honestly take a 3'rd round pick over a guy who is probably one of the top 2-3 returners in the entire league???

Seriously? a 3'rd?

???????????????

Before this week I would take a 4th. Is a returner really that valuable? they are a dime a dozen. Granted a special returner like hester or cribbs or ginn can make somewhat of a difference, but its easy to find a decent returner. Ginn had two touchdowns today, but he may go the rest of the season without getting another touchdown return. thats how volatile the position is.
