That being said, it is a nice gesture.
nice gesture, but he should be doing alot more, like donated his own money as well. although he may have already, but he just doesnt want to make it public...but i doubt it.

I bet if this was a Superbowl ring he would not be auctioning it off....TO is all about TO and the publicity he wants for himself......impress me TO by collecting food and stuff for the victims (be like Roberto Clemente).

I believe on ABC they said they had to start the auction over? Or something, because their were so many bids....i didn't hear it too well i was listening to the Eagle radio announcers.

Sean "Diddy" Combs (Sean John Clothing Co. & Bad Boy records CEO) 200 million and and Jay-Z (Rocca Wear Clothing Co. & Def Jam CEO) 335 million.......... are worth hundreds of millions of dollars each and they had to combine their donation together to give 1 mil.
larry King- donated 1 million
Celine Dion (Canadian citizen)- donated 1 million
Nicholas Cage-donated 1 million
Ellen Degeneres- donated $500,000 and sill match up to another $500,000 if her viewers donate.
Teen Star Hilary Duff gave $250,000
None of these entertainers make what P Diddy and Jay-Z earn.
New Orleans is 85% black and the music these two peddle made their riches from the black youth although it is also enjoyed by a lot of white people as well ....... but they called their donation help to "their people"
Every song is about their cash, yaht, bently, ice, and women.
After this pitiful gesture I don't wanna hear anything from either one.

$500,000 is nothing to scoff at and neither had to give anything at all, but Jay-Z bought Beyonce a 3 mil ring for her birthday and spent 1.3 on a birthday party for her in one weekend.
If a guy can spend almost 4.5 million in a couple days, $500,000 is what he wipes his bum and lights his blunts with.
