Who has the better season?

Seeing that Terrell Owens has landed in Seattle with a one-year deal.

Also seeing that Terrell Owens ran a 4.45 40 in his workout for the Seahawks.

A 4.45 40 on a repaired knee.

It's crazy how fast people are when they're broke.

Where's the story on the 40 yard dash? That's super quick considering. TO is a work horse, that's for sure.

Both are likely to have close to decent, but unspectacular seasons. Owens is the better player, but I dont expect either to have seasons any better than the average NFL WR.

Terrible comparison. Here you have a WR ocho cinco who is coming off a superbowl contender who was in the superbowl last year and would have done much better had the team got him more involved. I think ocho cinco was in belichicks dog house awhile before playoffs even started, i think belicheck believed he wasnt as commited as belicheck had hoped he would be when he arrived in new england. Therefore, he was never really a key player on that offense like someone thought he was going to be. With all that said, he still had the tools and traits to do be a true threat on that team but i think with belicheck commitment comes before anything, speed, str, all that those stuff is great but i think he puts commitment and intelligence before anything. Not saying chad ocho isnt intelligent and commited but while in new england, he struggled to even learn the playbook which threw belicheck off.

Now, terrell owens, hasnt been a threat in this league since the cowboys let him go, hes gotten slower, and im sure he is not half the player he use to be. T.o just doesnt have the tools anymore, the commitment seems to still be there because of money problems but anyone who watched t.o in cincy would agree that he can no longer be relevant in this league anymore. Seatlle is adding him for depth at the position, nothing more nothing less. I doubt he sees the field until injurys occur.

My answer is, ochocinco clearly has the much better year. Ocho is under a contract that he needs to perform to get paid the bonuses of the contract, im not sure how t.o contract is but im pretty sure ireland knew what he was doing when signed ocho. He has to perform at a high level to reach the contracts high level and big bonuses.

I wish TO luck in Seattle. He needs the money badly, I hate seeing guys go out broke like that. He was irresponsible and it is his fault, but I hope he can turn his life around. He doesn't have many years left, maybe two more years at most. He's going to need a big season this year (800-900 yard receiving/5-7 touchdowns) for Seattle to give him another 1 year 1 million contract.

chad will have a better season due to system and better hands, but owens is still a beast if he commits to footbal and leave the diva dress in the parking lot. both have potential to still be a legit WR in this league. lets see how the pre season plays out and re-visit this later..To be continued...

Terrell Owens got cut by an IFL team.

Chad Johnson will have the better season.

I know how ****ing sad is that, well he might pay his bills now...............

Do you guys even know why he was cut? The guy played well in the IFL. He was making 100K for a single season. The average salary for an IFL player is between 1.5k to 7k week. That is why he was cut, the team could barely afford him and he didn't want to play for less. They basically invested in him for publicity.

Actually I think one of the biggest reasons he was cut is because he would dip out on visiting the children's hospital. I know the team that he played for was real big on visiting sick kids and Owens was guaranteed to be there and then was a no-show. Team wasn't having that.

Regardless of performance, unless Owens blows Johnson out of the water, I prefer Johnson all the way. Johnson gets into trouble with the league, sure, but he isn't a team wrecker like Owens. Most of Johnson's fun is harmless. I'd much rather have that kind of personality around first set of rookies with Philbin than Owens' personality.

Not sure who will have the better season, but I am glad we got Johnson. He is having a great camp and he is so grateful to be playing in Miami, which is a plus for us. Not sure I would want to put a guy like Owens around a rookie QB, although I have heard that he was pretty good at keeping his mouth shut in Cincinnati. I wasn't overly happy with the Johnson pickup, but he has really grown on me the last 2 weeks and I am excited to have him!
