From the Miami Herald....

Glenn, by the way, was not allowed to step onto the practice field by the Cowboys because they feared he wouldn't last even one workout without blowing out his knee. Again.

At 34, Glenn needs micro-fracture surgery or major rehabilitation -- or a tent-revival healing -- to pass an NFL physical now.

I don't see anyway we bring him in before Week 7 or 8 if his knee is in that bad of shape

I don't want him here.

I want to see what our young guys (Ginn, Hagan, Camarillo) can do.

Which isn't very much :boohoo:

Hopefully they will turn it around but even if they do...2nd round pick for Anquan Boldin please.

Boldin has a bad hip and hamstrings. hes always hurt. don't need him

It certainly seems that way. But Pennington makes everyone better, so we shall see.

let's see who's cut as a FA or comes off the last pre-season waver wire...I think it was Darlington I saw saying that the main Ireland/Parcells ongoing daily activity is studying everyone else's roster and evaluating/rating each anticipated cut. There could well be some last-minute surprises, especially if there's another Marcus Colson who comes out of nowhere for some team.

Pardon me if I don't jump on the "Noodle Arm" bandwagon. Pennington is just a distraction and will end up doing nothing for the future of the QB position for this franchise.

He will only provide veteran leadership but when it's all said and done he is only taking playing time away from two QB's who could possibly be the future. We are never going to know if Henne or Beck are going to be good enough unless they play and now they wont play for another 2 or 3 years because Pennington has signed up to ruin the QB competition.

Thanks Tuna

We need a WR and I hope we pick up one that can come here and contrivute. So far Kirkus looked real goood out there.

Can you say "Chris Henry"? Granted it won't be until week 5 that he plays and he has a huge risk for further off-the-field problems. In my eyes, though, he is totally worth the risk.

LOL what????

Boldin is incredible. A tough, hard working WR who delivers on the field. To say we don't need a WR of that caliber is hilarious.

no he's not

with Goodell cracking down on turds, and uber turds in Henry's case, he's made a point of warning teams about players like that

he said that he'd starting docking draft picks of teams whose players can't behave like regular adults

the last thing the Phins need are lost draft picks

i dunno i would have to disagree. hes only missed six games in his last three seasons. four or which were last year, where he still managed to post 853 and 9 tds. the mans a top wr in this league and would be a major upgrade over ALL our recievers. that said i really dont see this happening but with our young unprovin wr corp its very hard to feel sure of them
