Okay, based on some statistical analysis, I'd say we should be able to beat this football team, here's why:

The Texans:

The biggest thing here is that their defense is horrible. They can't stop anything and are in fact worst than Tennessee. They also don't seem to have a running game, which makes them one dimensional. Having said that, their QB is playing better than ours and they have some scary receivers to go up against our secondary. Still, I like our chances in this one, but wouldn't be surprised if we blew it. I hope this works out the way the numbers Suggest it will. Thoughts?

Here are the stats in case this cut and paste is dodgy:

Our D only gave up ten points last game. In the Nfl thats usually pretty good. I think with DC as our QB we will barely squeek out a win. with Sage we would win by two touchdowns. Too Bad

IF we don`t Pressure Carr.....LONG day...

The last time we played them we were favored by 14....and LOST at HOME....This game is NOT going to be easy...

If we have to rely on DC, we lose. If we rely on Ronnie, we win. I hope Mularkey leans on RB.

This ( the Texans) is the worst defense in the NFL. It wont get any easier than the Texans from here on out.

On the other side of the ball, their oline is only marginally better. For all the people who blame our offense squarley on our oline watch Carr. He's finally getting production with no oline and no running game.

We really should win this going away. Unfortunately I am not even sure if we will win the game at all. I think we win but I'm not sure

I believe the Texans have given up the most points in the league so far this year, so hopefully their defense will be the perfect medicine for our struggling O. A few things worry me though: we're on the road, winless teams at home always scare me, and ERIC MOULDS now plays for the Texans. That guy has made a career out of making us look bad. Andre Johnson is pretty good to boot and our secondary has looked quite suspect. Hopefully they play the pass like they did in the second half yesterday, which was much better than the first half. All that being said I definitely think we have a good chance to win the game, and maybe even tie for the division lead, since the patsies play on the road in Cincinatti and the jets play Indy. We will see Sunday. Go Phins!

If Culpepper starts which he probably will we will be in for a long game and in the end, it will be a field goal either way.

I reckon we have a chance, but IMHO here is what concerns me:

Player Att Comp Yds Comp % Yds/Att TD TD % INT INT % Long Sack/Lost Rating
David Carr 82 59 635 72.0 7.7 6 7.3 1 1.2 53 10/73 113.6

And...

I didn't even cut all of their recievers, just their top ones. Andre Johnson looks scary, we must stop him, and Carr seems to be playing very well even without a running game whereas our offense is sputtering. But still, we if we can't move the ball on this team, then we should hope we are a top 5 pick in next year's draft so's we can get the best O-lineman available. Personally, I hope and believe we'll beat these guys...

And we had a tough time against the 31st ranked ( at game time) D in the titans.

well be fine. very likely there will be a 3 way tie for first in our division if we win. lets just focus on winning for now, instead of a week past houston. we just need to improve week by week

I don't even want to think about it. The only other time we played them we lost.

I'm just hoping that this win last week was the spark we needed to get things turned around and moving this season. :dolphins:

Wasn't this the season opener also? The 1st season opener we lost in like 11 years. We will beat the but it will be a close score like against the Titans.
