Texans owner Bob McNair says Houston's performance in a 42-10 loss at Seattle last weekend was "totally unacceptable."

McNair, in an unusual move, called an impromptu session with the media on Wednesday in his winless team's locker room. The Texans are 0-5 for the first time and the NFL's only team without a win. They play the Colts (6-0) on Sunday.

Against Seattle the team allowed 320 yards rushing. It was the most yards on the ground allowed in Texans history.

"I certainly wasn't proud of that," he said. "And the players weren't proud of it. None us were. That's not the kind of team - that's not the kind of effort that we want to have.

I really thought the Texans would be something this season. It's not like they haven't been given their fair share of chances to have a winning season.

seriously, the league gives them so many opportunities to be good with draft picks and all that. There is no reason they shouldn't be contending yet except bad coaching and player decisions.

if the seahawks loss was unacceptable, what will the colts loss be?

It'll have to be acceptable seeing that it's 0-fer in the win column vs 0-fer in the loss column.

I wonder if Dom Capers pulls a wanny befor the year is over?

I'm not one for predicting the future but I already know the outcome of the Texans next game this Sunday................ they're going to lose.

I for one believe their main problem is David Carr. True, he gets sacked about a dozen times a game, but when he does get time he still doesn't throw the ball with very much accuracy.
