Texans owner Bob McNair says Houston's performance in a 42-10 loss at Seattle last weekend was "totally unacceptable."
McNair, in an unusual move, called an impromptu session with the media on Wednesday in his winless team's locker room. The Texans are 0-5 for the first time and the NFL's only team without a win. They play the Colts (6-0) on Sunday.
Against Seattle the team allowed 320 yards rushing. It was the most yards on the ground allowed in Texans history.
"I certainly wasn't proud of that," he said. "And the players weren't proud of it. None us were. That's not the kind of team - that's not the kind of effort that we want to have.
