And the Fins would be crazy to trade up to get him.

The Fins are better off taking Okoye, Landry or Brown at 9 and a QB in the second.
With all the needs the Fins have, Cam/Mueller would need to have their heads examined if they gave away a 2nd rounder to move up to 6.

Write it down: The Vikes wil draft a QB (Quinn) and Cleveland will take Peterson.

The only wildcard in all this is the Raiders take Calvin Johnson at #1 and the Lions don't take Russell.
If that happens, all hell could could break loose b/c quarterbacks like Russell do not come available every year.
But QB's like Quinn do. (See Boller, Harrington, Carr, Alex Smith, Rodgers etc. etc. etc.)

but the franchise needs to take a chance on qb we havent taking that chance and it hasnt payed off

You can't just compare those crap QB's to Quinn. What about Manning, Palmer

You can also say Russel will be Akili Smith. The guy only has 19 or so starts. Just because he is big and can throw 70 yards doesn't mean he will be great. If I remember correst Leaf had a rocket for an arm.

Why do you want Okoye when we play a 3/4 and he is too small to be a nose tackle? I agree the kid is a top talent, just not for our scheme (and not as a NT). As far as Brown, I personally think we could get equal OL talent in round two or even 3, so I'm not in favor of going OL at #9. As far as the Quinn/Russll debate, it's been beaten to death already, so just to humor you I will assume we do not draft Quinn. If that were the case I'd like to take Landry, or maybe Patrick Willis, or move back and go with a CB.

I just don't think quinn is a top #10 pick!! We can get the SAME quality type of qb in the 2nd round. I think Edwards, Beck or Stanton will be just as good as quinn.

Exactly, and there is so much more to add to the debate too, but there are already a million and one threads on it, so I didn't even borther writing the entire comparison out again

was there something I missed? Did the draft already happen...Your post is so far off I do not know where to start..All I have to say is WOW MAN, WOW

AND When Quinn is lighting it up for another team then im sure you'll be the one calling for our GM/Coaches head for not trading up to get him.... And whats to say we would get Russel and he gets his knee hurt like Culpepper then what.

I thank the heavens you realize just how far off this post is since you havent rebutted one reply on your own post. Must not take much stock in your own words bro

The Dolphins need an LT really really bad.
Levi Brown is the obvious pick. But the Fins gotta have a backup plan if Brown's gone. That backup plan should be guys like Landry, Hall, etc.
I wouldnt be surprised if Fins took Okoye. Talent is talent.

Check back on Saturday, pal.

Quinn could be a fine pro.
But based on his arm and the range of throws he's capable of, he's not in the league of either Peyton or Carson.
